I collect all shell pieces myself during my long beach walks, then wash them thoroughly at home, dry them, hand paint and cover with a layer of water based protective finish. I do not drill any holes in the shells myself or modify them in any way preserving their original unique look that nature created. I use high quality sterling silver, silver plated, antique bronze or gold tone findings from Australian suppliers.
Most of my shell earrings are asymmetrical and they are intended to be that way. Each piece of shell is unique – no any two are identical.
